Things to do – Moderate Walks

These are three moderate walks, all offering rewarding views.

The first walk or Bike-ride is a loop walk to Adler Hill, from where you can enjoy views in all directions for many miles, including views of Emerald Falls.
The walk starts at Lake-side, although you could drive to the parking area of the downstream Creek Day-area to shorten the walk by a couple of kilometers.
We suggest you walk clockwise to enjoy the best views.

The second walk or bike-ride is up to Flat Rock Lookout, which is on the other side of our property, towards Davies Creek. It starts at Lake-side Day area, although you could park your car along the main ridge road near the corner where the turquoise track with the “NO MOTOR VEHICLES” sign goes off, which shaves of 700m off each way.
This walk takes you across Brindle Creek and up and down a moderately steep farm road. At the end of the road, you need to climb up the ridge for about 250m and then head for the massive boulders about 50 m to your left to find yourself at a truly spectacular lookout with a large lemon-scented gum towering over it.

The third walk or bike-ride is a loop through the Brindle creek valley.
Again you could start from the Lake-side Day area or park your car along the main ridge road near the corner where the turquoise track with the “NO MOTOR VEHICLES” sign goes off, which shaves 700m off your walk each way.
We suggest you walk counter clockwise to enjoy the best views. You can add the Flat-Rock lookout and if you are really keen, you could jump over our back gate and walk all the way to Davies Creek, which will add about 5.5 km one way or 11 km return to your walk or bike-ride.
